Mindful Queer Dating:
A Joyful Queer Coaching Community

* Applications Due Monday, October 17 *

Dating is hard. Why do it alone? Over the course of this 3 month coaching group, you’ll connect with your most badass, authentic dating self, gain tools to mindfully weather the ups and downs of dating, and find solidarity, accountability, and celebration with fellow queer comrades.

The group meets 7 Sundays from 7-9 pm ET / 4-6 pm PT on Zoom.

This group is for you if

  • You’ve never dated before but are ready to get started

  • You’ve been on the scene for a while and want some support and solidarity

  • You’re a dating pro looking to approach dating more mindfully

  • You identify as queer or LGBTQIA+ (even if sometimes you feel like you’re “not queer enough”)

  • All genders welcome

What you’ll get out of it

  • Experience a supportive community of queer daters

  • Take authentic, aligned action towards your dating goals

  • Reframe dating as an opportunity to follow enjoyment and pleasure

  • Build confidence and gain tools to mindfully weather the ups and downs of dating

  • Receive an optional one-on-one coaching session with Liz or spiritual direction session with Cora

Note: This group is NOT dating 101 or an online dating how-to, a therapy group, or a 3-month speed dating party.

What will sessions look like?

Each session will include meaningful exploration of a tool or aspect of mindful dating, personal reflection, and group discussion. There will also be space to celebrate, kvetch, and get support around your dating life. Between sessions we ask you to do about 20 minutes of homework around the themes of the week, and to meet regularly with a small group of Queer Peers.

About the facilitators

Cora McCold (she/her) is a white, queer gal from the South who serves as executive director of a nonprofit focused on spiritual care. As a spiritual director with a background in anti-oppression work and liberation theology, she finds great joy in helping folks get free from limiting beliefs, systems, and structures.

Liz Aeschlimann (she/her) is a queer Jewish woman who has been married long enough to think it’s fun to do household tasks with her beloved on Sunday mornings. She loves building community around topics that touch us deeply but make us uncomfortable, and coaching people to bring their brilliance into the world. This is her website, so you can read more about her with the click of a button!

Disclaimer: Facilitators do not assume liability for any romantic entanglements that may arise between members of the group :)
